Do you think you could do a tutorial on the dreads?? I would love to give my cleo head some (since her head's been slightly split open.. ^^;)

Hmm... maybe. It's really not all that hard.
I don't know how other people do it, but all I do is take some wool roving and a bowl of warm water (with a couple drops of dish soap mixed in it)...I dunk the roving in the water and then just draw it out really thin and twist it in my fingers. It can take a few tries to get it the right thickness for a doll that size. I keep a screwdriver on hand and as I twist the roving, I wrap it tightly around the handle of the screwdriver. Then I secure it with a rubber band and let it sit overnight to dry and set the twist.

Once it's dry I flat iron it. Then it's ready to cut to size and I just hot glue it to the doll's head, and save a little bit of the roving to cut into flocking powder so that I can flock over the part, edges, etc. Covers it up very naturally. :)

Anyway, that's pretty much all there is to it. I'm not planning on making dreads again anytime soon (I made a whole bunch last time in different colors, so I'm pretty well stocked at the moment). But I'll try to remember to make a pictorial tutorial next time. :D

oki doki! I'll try to do it. Maybe there are others who have tutorials? I'll have to look. I just trust your methods :D Do you think super glue would work? I have that awesome one.. I could try.. But if not should I use the cooler setting or hotter setting for the hot glue gun? :) I'll have to buy some wool roving. I need to stock up supplies again for crafting! xD I'm making a cardboard chair for my HLHMBG (headless headmistress bloodgood lol). I think I might giver her some black dreads with rainbow bright colors thrown in. (my cleo head that is xD not the headmistress haha though that would be awesome!) I kinda wanna go full out and give a bunch of dolls dreads.. but that may be over kill! xD I will look forward to a tutorial from you!! :D (I apologize ahead of time if I ever bug you about it, but I try to remind people things.. I don't like being a pest I really don't! xD)

I used to use only the low temp setting on MH dolls, but my glue gun currently only works on high, so I've tried using it on a couple MH girls and so far I haven't had any problems. (also OMG a headmistress! I'm so jealous!)
